One of my favorite song lyrics says, "I'm no shining knight in armor, I'm no Prince Charming, I agree. But, What I lack in might and valor, I'll make up in honesty". And, this is where I find myself now. I'm a comfortable with who God made me to be. But, sometimes I look in the mirror and say “who is that goofy, 5 foot 3 inch, 59 year old man?”
Well this is who I am...
I am a great friend. I am compassionate and easy going. I will keep your secrets and shout your accomplishments. I am forgiving but, not a pushover. I am confident but, not arrogant. I'm a great listener but, not afraid to share my opinions. I am realistic about what I am looking for in friend but, I will not settle for “less than”. I will encourage your strengths and do my best to look past your flaws. I am very spontaneous and romantic but, understand “flying by the seat of your pants” can be disastrous without some planning.
I can be forgetful, I can be selfish, I can be obsessive, I can be fearful, I can be unorganized, but, knowing these things about myself gives me the insight to help me fight against these character flaws. I am far from perfect. But, I am doing the best I can to someday hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
Ok, so am a smart man?
I think I'm a fairly intelligent guy. I mean I'm no Mensa member but, I'm not your basic boogerhead either. I am able to carry on an intelligent conversation. I keep abreast of current events, I have deeply held religious, economic, social, cultural, and historic beliefs and ideas that I am fully capable of discussing with some bit of competency.
I express my creativity musically. In my home I have a small recording studio. I write, arrange, play (multi instrumentation) sing, record, mix, master, and produce my own music. Now, don't misunderstand, I'm not a music professional. It's just a hobby. But I derive great satisfaction from finishing a piece of music. Very few people have actually heard my music but, that's ok. It's I do for me.
I am a follower of Jesus Christ. He is my rock. Without Him my life would be nothing. I was raised in a Christian home. My parents had me in church every Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night service since I was a few days old. Although I would say I gave my heart to Jesus at 5 years old it wasn't until much later that I really fully surrendered to Him. I am so thankful that at the age of 19, in Uberusel Germany, God called my name and set me apart for pastoral ministry. I haven't always done His will, I've followed my own path more than a time or two. But, I am living with the hope of someday seeing my Savior "face to face".

- You know, quite a bit of the time I look at the pictures of ladies on this site and think to myself "wow, she's attractive" and then hit the "X" button because I also think to myself, "too attractive for me, she's outta my league". But, a friend once said to me "Tad, don't be afraid to ask the prettiest girl in the room to dance. She'll probably say "no". But, she might say "yes". You don't know unless you try.
SO, Hi my name is Tad. I am pastor of a small church in a very small town. And, I'm asking would you like to get know each other a little here and maybe eventually go out to dinner? In other words, wanna dance?
