hello there! thanks for stopping by! basically, i am looking for whoever God presents for me at this time, whether that be a friend, or perhaps something more :) i love the Lord above ALL else (His love for us is SO unfathomable, isn't it?), and am looking for, first, and foremost, people of like-mindedness :) i enjoy spending time daily praying, and/or in the Word, and/or reading/sharing devotionals and/or watching/sharing sermons online or on tv, so people that i could do at least some of these things with would be ideal 😀
the remainder of this 'about' section mainly only applies to romantic-level inquiries :) i know most people will say this gets kind of long for a bio section, but i have always felt relationships are one of the most important things in life, so why not put as much effort into it as possible, ya know? thank you in advance for taking the time to read all of it, for those of you who do, haha 😀 so with that said, here we go:
pretty much my only requests would be: (1) please nobody that is divorced, IF THE DIVORCE WAS REQUESTED BY YOU FOR ANY MATTER, or by your ex, FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN INFIDELITY (because Matthew 5:31-32 sounds like they are written only to husbands, and only for reason of unfaithfulness (by the woman) on top of that (i promise i am not just being a male chauvanist!)), and (2) since i am a little different from most guys (definitely not embarrassed about it, though, please don't interpret that wrong - i am confident in all things through the Lord. in all things!) in that i love affection, both giving AND receiving, someone that likes to dispense about as much as they get in this area would be really great (putting your arm over me as we lay on the couch/bed (down the road, obviously, for the bed), with my arm wrapped around underneath your shoulders, so i am kind of holding you, would be one of my favorites!) ...
while we are talking about things being about equal, it reminds me of something, so i guess there would be one more thing i would ask - that it would also be nice to have that in the area of communication on here as we get to know each other (asking questions, specifically!), as well (you don't have to be scared/apprehensive of me, i am just not one of those types that is going to hurt you (see part about cheating below), if that is what the lack of questions so far overall on here has been the result of) because, actually, it ends up being self-destructive most times if that happens, because, since i am also not like most guys in that i don't take it as a challenge or what-have-you if the other person looks like they're not that interested, and then start to try to communicate more because of that, but actually the exact opposite takes place - i start to pull back (why would i want to be with someone who doesn't seem, at least close to, as interested in getting to know me as i am them?), and then it is usually just a downward spiral from there, culminating eventually in all messages being cut off between both parties :( so please just try and relax, if you can, ok? (again if that is indeed what the problem is) :) i promise i won't bite... too much, anyway, haha! 🤣, and (3) while i am definitely looking for someone to challenge me at certain times, i am also not looking to be critiqued to death, either, so if that could be avoided, too with someone, that would also be great! thank you for your understanding on these matters :)
other things:
i have never cheated on anyone before, nor even thought about it (i mean unless you count the fleeting seconds that we all think someone is nice-looking/cute) - that is just not who i am, AT ALL!
i am a mature guy (do not play video games, except for when with family for entertainment once in awhile (wii, mostly - so fun to bowl on there!), or spend all day watching sports), so you don't have to worry that you're dealing with some kind of manchild, or anything, haha!
you may have noticed already that i do not capitalize words except for referring to our blessed Lord - this is not out of laziness, but just in reverence for Him!
oh, and the very last thing, just because it might be helpful to know, is that it takes about 30 minutes each time for me to get message notifications from here for some reason, so if it seems like it is taking me a long time to respond, that is why, and not because i am ignoring you! ok, think that it is it - look forward to hearing from you... bye for now! 👋😀
*quick add-on - this'll be the absolute last thing, i promise: since i am not much into social media, God put it on me that, even though it isn't something specific to dating, here would be a good spot to mention one more item that can help society as a whole: if you are one who gets awakened at night by the slightest noises - and i would imagine that will be quite a few of you, because i have known SO many people in my lifetime that are that way - well, you aren't really sleeping, and getting nearly all the benefits from sleep that you could be getting - most important of all is allowing Him another (and actually would be the BEST, because of the amount of time you would be disconnected significantly from world goings-on each time, and could hear Him better!) opportunity to talk with you... and He also wanted me to point out the root cause of this - it all stems from an intense need in our society (only gotten worse over the years) to truly not want to ever give up control on anything for, really, any amount of time (fear of what could be missed out on/'allowed' to happen if allowing oneself to deeply fall into sleep) :( ... but i am telling you, you are actually (another one of satan's big deceptions) missing out on one of the most amazing things that could ever happen to you by focusing on the wrong thing(s) here! :( oh, and can't forget to pass along the way to do it - He wants us to focus on Him: "stay your mind on the Lord" ok, that is really it now :) hope this blesses many, many people... love to all 😀
