hello there! thanks for stopping by... i love God above ALL else (His love for us is SO unfathomable, isn't it?) and am looking for, first, and foremost, people of like-mindedness :) i enjoy spending time daily in the Word, reading/sharing devotionals and/or watching/sharing sermons online or on tv, so people that i could some or more of these things with would be ideal :)
for romantic-relationship level (because i stated i was looking for anything), the following, in addition to those things, would apply, as well:
please nobody that is divorced (Romans 7:1, other verses), and there is something that can be clarified regarding the section about kids - i don't intend it to sound like i am nonchalant, maybe uncaring in this area by selecting 'undecided/open', if that's the way it should come off to anyone, it's just with looking for whichever person/situation God has for me, of the choices given for responses to this question, this was what seemed to be the closest fit for that :)
i am looking for someone who is either quiet, or doesn’t look to , at least, slowly impose their way on everything, because eventually this just leads to me (and i think most would be /are the same way) pulling away
i am a little different from most guys (definitely not embarrassed about it, though, please don't interpret that wrong - the Lord gives me such strength in all things!) in that i love affection, both giving AND receiving, so someone that likes to give about as much as they get would be great!
i have never cheated on anyone, nor even thought about it (i mean unless you count the fleeting seconds that we all think someone is nice-looking/cute), that is just not who i am at all
putting the finishing touches right now on eliminating a little bit of anxiety, through the awesome power that was appointed to us on the Cross, so may be late (just around a few minutes, or so) every now and then for our get-togethers at first (just til i get completely over it) - please know this has nothing to do with you!
i am not a big fan of advice - to me it is mostly just a way to tell people what to do, under the guide of caring, and it adds up for me after awhile.... so if this could be limited in someone, i would greatly appreciate it :)
i am looking to be with someone who doesn't get upset with/take it out on me in any way if even one thing, just one time doesn't happen to work out and/or assume the worst if she doesn't know for sure on something... two parts about this are that things out of our control pop up sometimes, and patience and positive attitude are supposed to be main focuses for us believers, and, also, it seems to be almost always taken as though i am doing something on purpose, which i never am, so that kind of hurts for it to be taken that way , you know?
also looking for someone who isn't afraid to give compliments once in awhile... it just seems like when it comes to dating/relationships, it is almost all about mind games anymore, especially being SO fearful of looking like you are making someone feel too good about themselves, and i am looking for something different… i promise i am not going to get a big head or full of myself, or anything like that, lol! i am not that type of guy, and will just think that you actually like me a little bit if you do this (imagine that? haha) 😉 thank you in advance for your understanding in these areas :)
