Hi I'm Thom,
Looking to meet a like-minded potential partner...
Firstly my faith is very important to me, I was raised Christian in the same way alot of English kids were in a pretty relaxed and unserious manner, then in my teens explored other philosophies, but I came back to the faith fully later on in life after some remarkable experiences that brought me closer to Christ. I attend Mass at Church on Saturdays and Sundays and find it to be a vital part of my spiritual life.
Music is important in my life, I play guitar, piano, drums, bass and sing, and I'm a big fan of 60's and 70's Rock and blues, into alot of Jazz, Classical and Gospel aswell, amongst other things. Prior to covid I was lead guitarist, songwriter and vocalist in a band that were climbing the ladder and getting somewhere but sadly covid stopped us in our tracks and we're currently trying to rebuild.
I'm into motorbikes, cruisers especially, and like to get out on the country roads when I can, typical boys toys type scenario with my bike haha.
I'm a huge fan of being outdoors, particularly around nice forests and streams, big landscapes, the usual cliche things... I'd love to live in the countryside again aswell as I spend alot of my free time in places like that anyway, Peak District is a favourite.
I currently work in construction but this isn't what I intend for my future profession, at the moment I'm trying to rebuild my band after covid to take that as far as possible, and I'm also seriously considering studying for ministry and becoming ordained as I have felt somewhat of a calling, but I'm trying to see how God's plan plays out in regards those two paths for the immediate future.
Having a good laugh is important aswell, spend alot of my time just being plain silly to be honest, and as such like to be around people with a sense of humour.
Also like to have deep conversations about anything but especially faith, philosophy, spirituality, politics, theology and similar things.
Huge fan of animals, I like cats and dogs but currently just have a cat.
I'm a pretty traditional guy in alot of ways, let's say I'm not a fan of the current agenda of wokeness...
I'm a big advocate of free speech and treating people as individuals, too many important discussions are shut down these days... (but this is another conversation)
I'm here to meet Christian girls to talk to, date and potentially find a wife one day (God willing)
