I am a Canadian of British heritage. I have lived in C.R. for 15 yrs. and am a Permanent Resident. Although I'm 62, I look and act much younger - seriously!
I have lived in both San Jose and Nosara/Playa Giuones in Guanecaste. I previously taught English (full time) in S.J. and still enjoy teaching individuals and/or small groups. I believe God gave me the talent of language teaching.
I'm looking for a woman who enjoys discussing various topics and (like myself) is a good listener. If you're open to talking about the Bible and other topics, watching classic movies and discussing Costa Rican culture - then we're on 'the same page'! My Spanish is 'high - intermediate' and I'm always trying to learn more. Perhaps you could be my 'language coach'?!
I try to exercise regularly and enjoy long walks. In Nosara I regularly swam in the ocean. ....... Since moving to C.R., I now enjoy watching 'futbol', and playing it a bit.
I hope to meet a woman who also enjoys travelling away from the Central Valley - to both the mountains and the beach/coastal areas. * Please note one important thing here: I am trying to have a closer 'walk' with God (often fail!), so I would appreciate a lady who I can read the Bible with and pray together with. These activities are important for every Christian.
In conclusion: I am seeking a romantic relationship but starting with the building of a solid 'friendship first' scenario. If you believe that a couple should also be 'best friends' - then we are still on that same page!!

Meeting at the public park by the Old Aduana (old customs house) would be great. Do some walking and then sit and talk with a coffee.
Later, we could go for a meal in a small, quiet restaurant.
