Before getting into anything else, just want to say I hope your having a good day and that whatever the quality of your day, I hope you can find peace knowing that Jesus loves you.
I'm a 22 year old fellow, originally from the town of Grand Rapids MN, where I lived for most of my life. I have just recently moved down to Redwing for school, where I am training to become a luthier and work on stringed instruments, which is a dream come true I never would have seen coming! Outside of building instruments, I enjoy playing them as well, and have modest skills on both electric and acoustic guitar, bass, piano, and ukulele. It's good fun :)
I feel a strong calling to be in regular fellowship with other believers, and to serve in those fellowships. I have, and hope to continue to serve in the worship and young adult ministries, with the goal of building and helping others build relationships that push each other closer to Christ (take a look at John 17:20-21, and then read the whole chapter from the start. Pretty compelling stuff). I also enjoy using my problem solving skills on the technical issues that can often arise.
Outside of what I've mentioned so far, I cast a pretty wide net of interests. I was raised in a family of water skiers, so that is an important sport to me. I also love stories; making them, telling them, and listening to them. If nothing else, if you also like stories, I think it would be fun to get together and chat for a bit!
As far as relationships go, I don't want to push things. It's important to get to know someone well before rushing into anything, and it's important to me that both parties are comfortable with the status of the relationship. Another important part to me, is that regardless of the outcome of the relationship, I want you to be able to grow in your relationship with Christ. Ultimately that is what matters. It's also one of the few things I would ask for in return, that you would be willing to help me grow in my relationship with Christ.
To finish off, here's a quick rapid fire of some other interesting things/quirks about me!
-my folks are both originally from Canada, so I have a decent dose of Canadian in me (yes, that includes adding 'ey' to the ends of sentences)
-I most definitely classify as a nerd. In fiction, I enjoy both sci-fi and fantasy, and enjoy a fair amount of non fiction too (I told you, I like stories :)
-I enjoy the outdoors, and have done my fair share of hiking and mountain biking. Also provides great opportunities for nice views and good photos!
-I embrace the moto "nothing is outside my wheel house". With enough time and effort, almost anything can be learned, and I find enjoyment in that process.
-I have converted the back of my minivan such that I can camp in it, and enjoy going on road trips where you just drive in a direction, and figure out what to do or where to sleep when you get there!
-I love cooking deserts, and am hoping to be able to expand the skill set into other foods to!
