- I was widowed after 41 years of being very happy. I have 13 children, some who came with my late wife from her first marriage, two from my previous marriage, one from my marriage to my late wife, and finally, six adopted. I have a great relationship with some and a distant one with others. I still care for my two youngest who are both 22 years old and have Down syndrome.
