- Not really expecting much from here. In fact only expecting possibly one from here. But most on here aren’t comfortable with their look so have to use apps to wipe out their faces. Then say how holy they are and want to tell a man how it is. No you’re not looking for a David if you want a perfect man. Let me remind you that David being a man after Gods own heart had a lust problem, he had a temper, he was married several times. He was a busy man, and he murdered an innocent man. But he was a man of repentance, godly sorrow, and humility. He could admit when he did wrong. The question really is… are you a Michael (his first wife sauls daughter who mocked him for praising the Lord) or are you a Abigail or Bathsheba. Both calling him “my lord” with a lower case L out of reverence. Knowing God was going to use him mightily. Most all of you on here are not looking for a David as you say. You’re looking for a Saul.
