I was an atheist up until 2016 - I had always been spiritual. I was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) and have been a member since 2016.
Although I am a member, I do not consider myself a "strict" member - I am quite easy going. I focus mainly on learning to love others better, becoming a better person and keeping a connection with the man above rather than a "tick box" relationship (do this, don't do this).
I'm still growing with my relationship with God, learning to walk before I run.
I love how the Church I attend really focuses on being followers of Christ and His teachings. To love others etc. I still do like a glass of wine though 🙈 It's a working progress!
I do not believe God should be feared. I don't know scripture at all that well (I struggle to read it if I'm honest) - I'm not black and white, very grey 😊🕊
I believe we are all worshiping the same God and there really isn't a right or wrong way. I believe each Church across the globe teaches in different ways to cater for all the different types of people in the World so we can all have the opportunity to connect with the man upstairs.
I'm quite traditional and like the traditional gender roles.
Looking to find someone who I can share the next chapter of my life with. I've learnt a lot in these past 8 years, I've grown a lot - Some would say I'm an old soul and my friends see me as the "wise friend" 😄 Should listen to my own advice sometimes maybe!
