Being created in the image of God, I believe that we can echo the abilities of our Lord in what we do on Earth. For me, that's creating! The arts are a sacred thing to me, I dance and write professionally, I act, I sing, anything that gives me a chance to make something and share it with others. Stories are all around us, and I find the greatest joy in discovering great stories and inspiring those around me. I'm very active, but I also love sitting down to a great album or movie and just enjoying the moment! I'm also a big gamer: video games, board games, card games, you name it, I'll play it!
Okay, so before this sounds too much like an essay or a cover letter. Let's talk likes and dislikes.
Likes: Dance, writing, music, movies, reviews (i.e. critiquing what I watch and listen to), board games (this one is also really big for me, I have a collection of over 300 board games!), discovering new things, talking, really good meals (I'm one of the most appreciative eaters around, I'm very active so I rely on hearty meals to keep me going!), honesty, laughter!
Dislikes: Liars, loud noises, huge crowds (a few exceptions exist like audiences I perform to), people who aren't willing to try new things, shopping (again exceptions exist), workaholics (life needs balance), those who think of themselves more highly than others
- First Date
- It would most definitely depend on the person but the most important thing on a first date is a chance to talk, while hopefully doing something both people enjoy. A good meal and a good game would be my go-to!
