- About Me
- My husband passed away last year unexpectedly. I finally decided I had to venture out again and make some sense of the single scene as it is today. Things have changed alot! First, let me say that whatever the relationship becomes it must be with someone who takes their Christianity seriously. If we're not on the same page in that respect it can't work. I've spent most of my years as a Baptist (1st & 2nd), but finally migrated to the Contemporary Service at The Foundry Church. I agree with Neil Warren that commonness is what contributes to people staying together. I'm not so unrealistic to believe there won't be differences though and that's fine. I'm just not going to swim laps at the swimming pool with you or ride your motorcycle. I'm not going to kill deer either, but you can. I tried golf for a year. It might have loved me, but I didn't love it back. I'm a non-degreed accountant. Still, my parents both worked for The Dallas Times Herald so no dummy here. I tend to have real opinions about politics too as they did. Music is my fav. Was in the choir at First Baptist for 12 years and music ministry for 9. I lived at church in those days. It was hard and serious work, but it was a very memorable time in my life. I also love 60's and 70's music. I love seeing tribute bands too. I actually like going to some wineries for fun. Been to a few. There's alot to tell and no way to really write a life story in a paragraph.
