I live in Yorkshire… originally from America. I'm quite an anglophile and I’ve been in the UK for four years. My work is in biomedical research. In addition to research, I occasionally work with undergraduates as a module demonstrator/teaching assistant, and I often dabble in all sorts of writings (poetry, prose, civics essays, etc).
I generally prefer to describe myself as a nondenominational Christian. My faith from childhood shaped my values and who I am. While I do not consider myself an ideologue, I lean liberal in views, yet I convince myself that I am reasonably pragmatic.
I am a gentleman, an easy-going person, with a distaste for conflict and a passion for all things peaceful, joyful, and enjoyable. I love reading, writing, poetry, music (I play the piano and guitar a bit), movies, nature, traveling, etcetera.
I am hoping to find an enduring friendship on this platform that can blossom into something enduring as the Almighty ordains.
