I'm a born again Christian that attends a church where we say, "We're seeking to see people SAVED, SET FREE from the bondage of sin, and GROWING IN CHRIST." I believe this wholeheartedly. We are sinners that have been saved and set free if we've accepted Christ as our savior. However, we need to constantly grow in our walk with the Lord. This means prayer, Bible study, Church attendance, praise, and worship. you can't build a relationship if you're not talking and listening. We have to put in the effort to build that relationship with God. We talked to him through prayer, praise, and worship. We listen to him through Bible study, meditation (not the buddhistic type, but the holy type), and church attendance to hear His Word preached and taught. Additionally, we as believers are a fellowship and a community. In order to have that fellowship and community, we must congregate together. Therefore, saying I'm a Christian but don't attend church does not correlate, for me.
I'm an accountant who works primarily as an IT bridge for an accounting and finance group within my company. I have my CPA, and an enjoyable life.
I'm single, never married, with a twin sister and parents that live about an hour away. I attend a small church that's growing. I love my church and the friends that I have there, and the opportunity to use my spiritual gifts to help others. However, attending a small Church makes it difficult to meet people of my own age that are single.
I'm in the choir at my church, and I am a soprano. My primary spiritual gifts are Helps and Teaching. I'm taking steps to join our Children's Ministry to teach children's Sunday School and joining our Care Ministry to provide care and assistance to our senior citizens.
Note: I have two hypoallergenic cats that are long hair. If you don't like cats or are allergic to cat fur, you probably don't want to date me, because I'm always covered in cat fur. If you are allergic to cat dander (like me), you won't be allergic to these sweethearts. I am not a dog person, and I am allergic to them.
