Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” I’ve read the New Testament 32 times and the Old 5 times. I know I should have read it more because I understand how important the Bible is. I read it slowly because I don’t want to miss anything. I’m saying this because so many Christian’s values are more from the culture than God these days.
I like what most people do. For instance; dining out, outdoor activities, movies, reading, conversations, walking, traveling, board games, etc.
I own 25 acres in a very safe place in Idaho and want to make it into a homestead. It is beautiful with half in a forest of pine trees and a fresh water spring. I’ve been buying many things for it, and with God’s blessing I intend to sell my house in Orange County, and use that money to have a house built. I hope to not have any house payment since the land is already paid for. I think very hard times are coming soon, but with no monthly bills and my retirement income, two of us should not need to work, except for growing food, which I anticipate will be hard to get fairly soon, or at least very expensive.
