My best friend is truly Jesus, the One I trust fully including His infallible Word. I love studying and teaching God's scientific evidences in His Word as a way to demonstrate that He is our Creator and the One to whom we need to give our devotion.
I am a teacher and LOVE kids of all ages, and my favorite role has been beeing a mom. I have been a "mom" to many and mostly have enjoyed my two kids whom I had the wonderful blessing of being able to love and homeschool them as a single mom; they both were Olympic rifle shooters. I love life, have a very positive and joyful true personality; I'm natural and don't own makeup, but... I do take care of myself physically and am very strong, capable, and fit. My openness to people has been a good and bad thing :) but God has used the way He has made me for His glory, I hope :) People trust me easily and are open to me as well, thanks be to the Lord. I love it! I have never gossiped and no one tries to gossip with me; I speak deeply and about important life and eternal matters. It is much more interesting to me to discuss matters that are unseen over matters that are seen.
I really really really love nature and animals and am actually related to Daniel Boone. My horse was my best friend when I was a kid, seriously. Also, on my grandmother's side, I'm related to Charles H. Spurgeon - he was brazenly bold in his preaching and choice to be natural, real and funny, yet he fought depression. I didn't know anything about the Lord until I was 18, but then, BAM, He entered into my life, gave me an unfailing faith and will never leave me - Oh, thank You, Jesus :)
I have worked doing many different types of jobs that have been a blast, but I've always been teaching in some way - currently, I am the homeschooling teacher for two different families. Math is my favorite subject to teach, but I love foreign languages as well. In 1982, I actually got my first Bible when I was studying German in Austria, and I received the Lord into my life that year. What an amazing (and romantic) introduction to Himself He gave me!! I hope I get a moment to tell you that story one day :)
I am looking for a husband who loves the Lord, is committed to God and knows how to live in a way that pleases Him. One area of addiction I am not willing to connect with in a man I would date or marry is a man's sexual addiction to porn or in any other way. Actually, I'm very open to and love discussing porn as a massive addictive source of destruction for men (and some women) and of pain for the wives and children whom are in their lives and those greater effects we see in our society. Few people discuss hidden sins, but God has put in me a strong sense of His righteousness coinciding with a strong sense of how sinful ALL of us people are and how much we each need to rely on His mercy and grace to even take one breath and dare to live in His presence. He saved me from my sin, and He continues to. He also holds us to a holy standard of living if we are to please Him.
