I'm a 44 year old man living on a 40 acre ranch in Elizabeth, CO. I am a devout Christian, I love the quiet country life and having a lot of space to myself, but small town living makes meeting new people challenging. I'm just looking for like-minded folks as I move into a new chapter in my life.
If things like watching the sun move across the sky as the seasons change, walking on quiet mornings and listening to the birds sing while the antelope graze, and gazing up at the Milky Way at night sound even the least bit appealing, we're probably going to get along really well.
I feel like kind of an outcast in today's hookup, swipe-right culture, but I'm an old fashion guy who still believes in saying "yes ma'am", opening your car door, and paying for the date even if you were the one who asked me out. I believe in traditional gender roles and I reject the fact we're trying to do away with the traditions that have worked for thousands of years because some Marxist college professors think they have a better grasp of how things should work than the Bible.
I think the root of all comedy is tragedy, and the day you can't laugh at yourself or your circumstances is the day your soul truly dies. I don't take most things in life too seriously, but the small number of things I do take seriously (family, friends, love, and faith) I will defend with my life.
I'll tell you stupid dad jokes, I'll hold your hand everywhere we go, and I'll happily be the guy to come fix your car when it starts making a strange noise on the other side of town. I think a little bit of jealousy in a relationship is a good thing, and I think all our social media technology has really served to do is make us more lonely, not more connected.
Want to sit under the stars and have deep conversations about metaphysics, the nature of the human spirit, quantum mechanics, and apologetics? 'Cause I do, I just need to find someone other than my dog (Frank) to listen to me babble on...
I stole this quote from 1883 (great show, BTW) because I think it pretty much describes my philosophy and the way I feel when I watch the sun rise in the morning over the green pastures...

What I'm looking for is a good, honest woman looking to live a traditional life. If anything I said above resonates with you, then you're probably the type of woman I'm looking for. I think scars are sexy (not just physical ones, but the ones on your soul as well), humility is even sexier, and that seduction is a dance, not an act. If you've grown to a place where you're comfortable in your own skin we're probably going to make a good pairing. :)
