I'm a former church planter and senior pastor. I'm also a long time writer of books, especially Christian books. I'm a man of many interests. I'm constantly learning new things, researching and writing about subjects like nutrition, weight loss, health and especially how I can apply the Bible and my relationship with Jesus more intimately to my life. I'm a natural teacher and I love helping others understand what the Bible really says.
Although I'm an older guy, I am raising a sweet young Christian daughter. I really enjoy being a father and I'm not afraid of marrying someone who also has a child. But, of course, everything would have to mesh together. My daughter and I are very close and she's the reason I'm still in Texas. Our goal down the road is to move back to Hawaii where she was born.
I'm a firm believer that age is just a number. How old you are inside your head is much more accurate. I don't look or act my age, and I'm a little like Abraham in that I'm not afraid of marrying a much younger woman. That's also true because I've found that most women who are closer to my physical age have a tendency to be set in their ways. So I'm interested in finding a woman who is young at heart. Someone who is open to trying new things and being challenged to grow spiritually with the Lord.
So I'm looking for someone who really knows Jesus and is regularly working on building her relationship with the Lord. If you're deeply in love with the Lord, then we may be able to click together.
I'm looking for a soulmate. Someone who is as committed to me as I will be to her. I'm passionate and affectionate, but I'm not searching for a live-in lover. I want a wife. I want a two-become-one relationship with a wife.

- Online dating can be a pain. Too many scammers playing to be someone that they are not, using someone else's pictures. If I'm going to have a relationship with anyone, I'll need to be able to TALK to her. Endless messaging and texting can only take you so far. If you're not willing -- at some point -- to TALK to me -- and then especially to video chat, it probably won't work.
When it comes time for that first meeting -- let's not use the word "date" -- it should be something that you're comfortable with. What's important to you is the key. I'm also open to traveling to a foreign country to meet the right woman. But for me to take that kind of expensive undertaking, we would first have to feel a pretty close connection.
Finding the right person takes some effort. Don't give up. My prayer is that God will bless you on your search!
