- God is the most important priority in life. I believe Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, No one is saved apart from Him and His sacrifice on the Cross. I believe the whole Bible is the only revealed, authoritative Word of God. I am seeking a god-fearing woman with a similar perspective as mine concerning God. I currently attend a large ethnically diverse non-denominational church in Tampa. Since spirituality is highly important, we should be on a very similar page with theology. I would have reservations with Catholicism and Calvinism even though they are fellow believers. Progressive christian denominations and groups like LDS and JWs are out of the question. I grew up on Contemporary Christian Music as well, not really knowing much pop music until meeting my late wife, in the 90s. I still prefer mostly Christian music now. I was involved off and on with church ministry including youth ministries thru the years. Most of my life I have been an introvert, however I have become more and more outspoken in the past 15 years or so. My favorite subjects to discuss are geography, history, politics and theology. Being a Central Florida native, I care a lot about our fragile environment as well as local history. I do like lively cordial discussions about various topics. Being free to verbally express oneself is extremely important. Politically, I agree with a lot of the Republican party. I frequently listen to several Daily Wire hosts. I also care a lot about apologetics and listen to many Christian podcasters. I like to take road trips especially in Florida and I know a great deal about locales throughout the state. My sense of humor tends to be corny. I like to laugh and be goofy, mostly among family. Unfortunately, growing up as I did, I did not learn to dance, but hey, I'm willing to learn. I enjoy discovering new places and cultural destinations like museums and art galleries. I mostly like watching football as far as sports, but don't really play any. I do like walking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, boating, biking visiting nature parks and hope to do that more. However, skydiving and extreme rides are out. I don't like to sit and watch hours of TV on a regular basis during daylight hours. However some days are good for just chilling at home. Being healthy and active is important to me. I walk at least a mile most days. I try to eat mostly organic at home and take a plethora of natural supplements. I would like to lose about 30 lb, so if you would like to encourage and participate, that would be great. I also hope to return to college for a BA degree in geography or urban planning. I am generally laid back. I don't require someone to pickup after me and vice versa. I like to make my environment relatively clean and clutter free in the common areas of my house. Profanity is rare. Smoking anything is also a no-go. Anyway, continuing with other likes, I like quaint villages and towns as well as big cities usually taking photos as I explore. Concerning pets, I don't mind outdoor pets. I have two sons that plan to move out soon. Some other random details, I like gardening and landscaping around the house and have recently planted several trees and enjoy roaming plant nurseries for nice additions. My siblings, of which I am the youngest and my mom live out of state. Actually not many close relatives live nearby. My wife of 25 years passed away in late 2020. I am looking to move slowly with any relationship, looking for female companionship at this time. So there you have it, more to go on...Please note that I am looking for a lady residing near Tampa Bay, Florida.
