Hello. My name is Svetlana. I'm 46. Sorry for my bad English. I started learning English not so long ago. I live in Russia but I was born in Ukraine. I think communication and friendship between people from different countries help to get to know and understand each otherand also not to be afraid and trust each other. I am for a world without borders and for world peace! It’s really great when people from different parts of the world can share their thoughts with each other. I think friendship between Christians of all denominations is very important for world peace. Christians are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness? How sad that there is no peace even among Christians.
A little about myself. I live alone for many years. My son grew up and lives separately. For a while I wanted to dedicate my life entirely to God. Maybe even go to a monastery. But I understood that this path is for a few strong people. Ordinary people like me must first learn to love the people around them. Otherwise there is a danger of mistaking love for oneself for love of God. So now I have become more active in communicating with people around me. I am looking for a like-minded friend with whom I can exchange thoughts, praise Christ together and learn from each other the Christian virtues. "And now these three remain: faith, hope, love; but the love of them is greater" (First Corinthians 13:13)
