people would describe me as shy. Im a good listener and Im told I possess 'empathy in bucket loads' which I try to employ in the church and in the world. I have a wicked sense of humour and I love a good laugh in spite of being serious and a thinker.
I have physical limits following an accident- I have chronic pain and fibromyalgia as a result. Ive had to discover that Gods strength is made perfect in weakness. I focus on what I can do rather than what I can't.
Ive had many interests through my life- working with people who struggle with basic skills, supporting those who need support in bereavement; those who have experienced sexual abuse and rape, and with people who have the victims of crime. I like being in the background though when challenged to do so I will stand at the front on a Sunday morning ! I am currently starting to work with a group of single Mums who came to the Lord through Alpha.
I love being out in the garden doing things. I like seeing other gardens and the countryside where I don't have to do things. I feel tremendous freedom in the outdoors. I love music and my tastes are wide ranging. I love playing the piano. I enjoy exploring creative outlets. I enjoy trying new things- new places and perspectives. I like to walk in the countryside everyday if I can.
I love the written and spoken word and relax by getting lost in other worlds and times. On TV I enjoy historical drama, amongst other things
