I am a Christian woman who found her faith through many trials and tribulations.
I am friendly and outgoing and enjoy meeting new people which balances nicely to the time I spend at home being domesticated.
Spring and summer are my favorite seasons. During these months I can be found planting my garden and tackling new landscaping projects. During the winter months I can be found in my kitchen trying out new recipes and dedicating my time to my online business and interior decorating projects around the inside of my home.
I am retired after over 25 years working in the medical field, and this has given me time to travel and enjoy a week or two every year in Florida.
Christianity has become the main focal point in my life, and this is why it is important for me to surround myself with people who have the same Christian values and beliefs. However, this is becoming harder and harder to come by. I attend a non-denominational church and I am NOT a believer of organized religion. I am looking for someone that has lived a life of sin that has brought them to their knees and was able to find their faith through life's trials and tribulations, someone that knows and loves our lord and savior Jesus Christ, and someone that can share their hardships with other to help them also find their faith.
I value honesty and integrity. I do not tolerate lazy people, liars, selfish deceivers, or people with no ambition or common sense.
I am attracted to people who have gained wisdom through life's experiences, are confident in who they are and what they believe, and those that are willing and able to stand for those beliefs. I believe a man should "wear the pants" in a relationship. No woman should ever have to teach a man how to be a man.
- First Date
- For a first date I would have already conversed back and forth with the one I was meeting in person. I would meet with them at a quaint restaurant seated outside by the water. We would share a bottle of wine while we got to know one another a little better. Depending on how the conversation went and what the chemistry was between us, either make plans for another date or politely say goodnight and be on our separate ways.
