- The “Perfect First Date” for me is more about connection and positive interaction than location, activity, or money spent. Heck, some of the best first dates I have had didn’t cost anything but time and effort, and some of the worst were where the other person planned some scripted, expensive “experience”.
I’ve had great first dates at a zoo eating ice cream, in a field looking at stars, learning about the art of glass blowing, trying out a new camera at a park. None of those were expensive, super planned out, or traditional. But all were so much fun, where conversation flowed and humor was evident that a second date happened.
