I'm a single dad whose children have flown the coop and are off in College. I like to work, go to the movies, and relax by walking and enjoying nature. I love the beach and sunny days
I like to attend church, community functions and participate in community activities, as well as volunteer to help others, including being a former foster parent. Previously I worked at an international law firm in which I was a member of the 9/11 Day of Service Committee. As part of my responsibilities I would create volunteer opportunities for the professional staff at attorneys. I was the captain of the American Heart Association team for Holland & Knight. Plus I reworked for my schedule so I could be a parent recess monitor while my son was in grade school.

- It would depend on the other person what their interests are. If they loved movies and fine dining, or if they like musicals, we could attend an event at the performing arts center after a delicious Mediterranean meal at Sitti in downtown Raleigh. Another option would be that we could just go to a fun restaurant here in Cary and go to the movies either to see a vintage film at the downtown Cary theater or maybe over at the dine-in theater in Cary.
