- I was born in Saskatchewan, and raised on a grain farm. My family moved out to Red Deer in 2002 and I've been here ever since. I started in the Oil & Gas industry right out of high school. I bounced around in different trades but got my Red Seal Journeyman Ticket in 2018. I work maintenance on a Tar Sands Mine North of Fort McMurray. It is Fly in/ Fly out and I work 7 on/ 7 off.
