Hi,
My name is Jory and I’m 31 years old. I live in central Alberta. I’m trying this dating service in hopes of finding a man who is looking for a serious relationship leading to marriage.
My highest priority is finding a man who I can be evenly yoked with in faith, who sees his relationship with Christ as his first priority, is bold in his stand for Christ and takes seriously his roll as a man of God. I’m looking for a partner and friend but also someone who is prepared to take on the roll of spiritual leadership in a marriage, family and home. I’m praying for a man to walk through life in Christ together with.
I am a bit of a mix in my personality. I can be a strong personality and know my own mind but appreciate knowing someone has my back and knowing I’m not alone in life’s challenges. I’m a problem solver and often a mediator, I care deeply for people and believe I am a good listener with a lot of empathy and compassion while at the same time having very little patience for drama or manipulation. I desire relationships with people who are real, not perfect but real. I value family very highly and am very close with my family and value their input into my life and mine into theirs. Our choice to follow Christ and His Word are the foundation of our family and we often find ourselves discussing these subjects and truly believe in the power of prayer in our lives.
I am the youngest of three kids in my family. I have two older brothers, two beautiful sister-in-laws, two nephews and two nieces. My mom and dad were high school sweethearts and have been married for 36 years. The examples of Godly, faithful marriages are a legacy in our family from my paternal great grandparents down and my dad and mom are all about the support and engagement in their kids lives to see that this heritage continues both in our personal lives and in our marriage relationships.
I have been at my job for the past eight years and in the hotel industry for close to 10. It’s an interesting situation as in my true self I’m quite shy and introverted but my job requires me to be very extroverted. Although I can sometimes find myself getting peopled out…it has allowed me to meet a lot of neat people and has also given me a bit of a ministry with my fellow staff members that often find their way to my office to talk…knowing I’m a women of faith who will listen and pray for them but also speak honestly. I’ve never been a career oriented person…that’s always been my plan B. I was brought up to do my best at all I do and to work as into the Lord and so I’ve done well at my job…but my heart’s desire is to be a wife, mom and homemaker.
Well that’s a lot of information to take in so I’ll leave it there hoping that if we connect we’ll have lots of time to fill in any blanks.🙂
