I'm Mum to 5 adult children, 3 sons and 2 daughters and Nan to 6 under 10 grands! I'm loyal to a fault and very caring. I like to smile and encourage others in life...a smile can be heard over the phone!
My Christian faith is very important to me and I attend church regularly including mid week Bible study...it's a company thing as well! I've been involved in the worship team over the years and enjoy good worship music any time.
Compassion, honesty and authenticity are super important to me. Be real! Trust is an issue, so I'm rather reserved at first. Gifts are not my love language but quality time, words of affirmation and touch are...Yep I love a hug once I believe I can trust. Words are powerful. They either build up or destroy and I'm sensitive to your words.
Truthfully I've lived a very quiet, isolated life but moving to an area 4 years ago where I knew on one has challenged me and opened my eyes. I haven't lived near the beach for most of my adult life but I love the beach...where all 5 senses are enlivened. I regularly walk 3-5 Km (or more) per day, so if you don't enjoy walking we wouldn't have much in common. I enjoy visiting new places (with company) scenic drives and the outdoors including camping but not roughing it too much.
Learning to live on my own was a challenge which I got used to, but I currently have 2 housemates who needed somewhere to live. You can care about someone but unless it becomes compassion and you're willing to do something about it, really, what good is it?
