I'm a teacher with a good sense of humor who enjoys the simple things in life. My children are grown now but are my world, and I cherish spending time with them and somewhat of a large family. I absolutely love road trips, exploring new places, little spontaneous adventures and going to church. My faith in God is a vital part of my life, and I'm hoping to find someone who shares the same Christian values. That's actually the one thing I refuse to compromise on.
I was married for 22 years then separated for three, having divorced just a few months ago. I'm in a good place now, having given myself plenty of time for healing. I had to get myself to a spot where I was happy with myself before I could ever expect to make someone else happy. I'm at a really good place in my life right now; the only thing missing is someone to share it with.
I'm looking for a kind-hearted, fun-loving, and family-oriented person who shares my faith in God. A great sense of humor and a positive outlook on life would be wonderful too! At my age, I'm not concerned with looks or weight -- I'm attracted to the heart. Having my own kids, I would prefer someone who has their own children as well; I just think it helps us both understand one another better as a parents.
