My identity is defined by the love of God and deep gratitude to Him for the transformation He’s wrought in my life. I have been shy most of my life but through faith and Gods love, I am breaking out of it and have overcome many trials. I am an open book. My MBTI is INFJ. I connect most deeply with other Ns.
Relationships are very important to me. I enjoy time with friends/family, small group, discussing the deeper things of life and quiet places in nature among other things. A healthy lifestyle and personal growth are important to me. My favorite sermons are by Dr. Tim Keller.
My Testimony/How I Serve
Recently, I left corporate America. After a lifetime of striving for security, worth, & identity from work and not finding it, I became so hungry to know God more deeply that I retired early in order to seek Him. I told Him I would walk through any door he opened. I ended up leading small groups for BSF and Celebrate Recovery this past year. Despite feeling anxious and unqualified, I felt His joy and peace many times. These steps of faith revitalized my spiritual life. Through being a mentor, I realized that I love helping broken people find wholeness through the love of God. Recently, I signed up to become a Stephen Minister. I am continuing to move forward into the unknown seeking God's will.
