First things first: I'm only looking for a Christ-centered relationship.
Jesus is my reminder of how much meaning our lives have. I think Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me” does a great job of articulating how I feel about him.
On a personal note, I'm currently a Ph.D. student in Japanese linguistics. I live in and attend a local church in Madison, Wisconsin. I'm also active in my university's InterVarsity program. Before moving to Madison, I was a high school teacher (taught English and Japanese as an elective) in Burlington, New Jersey. I also lived in Aiken, South Carolina, as a child.
With Jesus coming first, some of my other passions are traveling to Japan (usually each year during June and July) and other parts of the world and analyzing Asian FDM (film and digital media), especially Japanese FDM. I'm also into fitness, and I typically work out 4 to 5 days a week. I'm fluent in Japanese and have very basic knowledge of (Mandarin) Chinese.
