Well I thought I should update my profile and make clear who I am and who I am looking for.
I have been a Christian since I was 19 years old. I was married for 5 years and had two children a daughter first and then a son. My then wife unfortunately had some unknown issues and left our family when my daughter was 3 1/2 years old and my son was 8 months old. I raised them as a single Dad. I must say, it was challenging but they had an amazing upbringing going to a Christian school, surfing in a Christian surf camp that I ran with one of my life mentors who led me to the Lord may years earlier, backpacking to the top of Mt. Whitney and many, many other adventures. My daughter graduated from ULCA and my son runs our family business with me. Here is a small sample list of Church Ministries I have been involved with. I do not intend this as a boast, but to give context of my devotion to Christ and that I will always serve him in ministry:
8 years - youth pastor
7 years - Christian High School Science Teacher
Church Counsel
10 years - Teacher and Director of the Tweener Sunday School Class (10 - 14) years old
Life long discipleship, In our Church if you are a committed Christian then you are either being discipled or discipling others
2 Medical Missionary trips to West Africa
1 Medical Missionary trip to Mexico
and too many outreach mission trips in the US to list
Again to boast about what we should be doing is dull, in the light of all the sacrifices that the Disciples, Paul and Today's great works being done by the Church. I only mention this to let any Godly Woman know what she would be getting into... Ministry and perhaps Pastoring if God said yes.
I never married again after she left. My Mother and Grandmother died of unnatural causes almost at the same time.
So I foolishly cocooned my self and would not let myself marry the many fine women that where in my church over the years.
