In the cold light of day, here is what I bring to the table.
I am solid middle class. I have a thriving career in engineering with a stable income that would allow me to support a family—with no other financial contributions required.
Currently living in a small town and working remotely. I could relocate anywhere in Ontario—and maybe in Canada—and keep my job.
I am single with no ties: I have neither kids and nor former partners hovering around.
Despite being born with a clubfoot, I am healthy, fit, and athletic. I swim, sprint, practice yoga and calisthenics, and play volleyball regularly.
I am honest and have become more open, outspoken, and assertive in recent years in confronting my family of origin on several issues that I kept buried for far too long. I have become acutely aware that integrity is either a lifestyle or nothing more than an empty word. I struggle to uphold the former.
I tilt towards introversion by I am capable of and eager to have deep and nourishing conversations.
Got a good sense of humor and a taste for old limericks.
Italian born and raised. Lived in Canada since 2006. Naturalized Canadian since 2019.
I want to build my own family. I want to become a husband and a father. A good one. A great one.
I have my fair share of emotional baggage that I carried with me for decades. I believe I have dealt with it—most of it—and gained a good degree of self-knowledge in the process. What’s left won’t stand in the way of a functional relationship.

A few words on my Christian faith. Although I can no longer say that I believe in the divinity of Jesus, I am very much in love with his teachings. “Do onto others...” is the golden rule I strive to live by, and I constantly remind myself to inspect my very eyes for giant beams therein lying before I go hunting for a speck of dust in my brother’s. After many years wasted in the pursuit of hollow pleasures, I now understand the admonitions about that old list of seven: I may no longer believe they are sins, but I do regard them as deadly—if indulged for long enough. As well, I now see the wisdom of the cardinal virtues. Since the time of Aristotle, they have served humanity well, hence my effort to integrate them into every facet of my existence: Diligence, chastity, patience, humility, kindness, temperance, and charity.

- A long heart-to-heart conversation. At a restaurant, at a coffee shop, on a beach. No matter where, as long as the place is quiet and welcoming.
I live in a small town, on the shores of a beautiful lake. In summer, I'd love to take my date on a long walk on the beach. We'd begin our walk from the South pier: The canal, leading into our little harbor, behind us; the sand dunes and vegetation on our left; the waves on our right, with boats on the horizon; and an entire new life in front, for us to explore.
