Dear Sister, do you know what EZER KENEGDO means?
When God created Eve, he spoke of her as Ezer Kenegdo. “It is not good for the man to be alone, so I will make for him an Ezer Kenegdo suitable for him” (Genesis 2:18). This mysterious Hebrew phrase is usually translated as "appropriate help." However, its meaning and what God says about women is really much deeper.
The word EZER is used sixteen times in the Bible to refer to God as the savior of Israel; it was used in a situation when a person's life is in danger and the only source of salvation is God himself.
A woman is the image of God EZER (God as if he transferred some of his "competences" to a woman); a woman is a reflection of the One who is always with us, in Whom we can always find help, salvation, whom we can trust and always use His help.
KENEGDO - someone who stands in front of you, facing you, and thus prevents you from going in any direction you choose; because if you want to go in a given direction, you need to meet EZER KENEGDO to go in the intended direction together.
