- I'm an aging radio broadcaster, actor and musician. I received enviable awards and media mentions during my career. I think my ego took a growth boost along the way but my self inflicted admiration conflicted directly with my Christian upbringing I received as a kid. I grew up as a Lutheran but I learned later in life that good works backed by similar intentions alone is probably the one belief that sends most church goers to perdition. If I've done anything right, I quit worshiping myself.
