Of course Jesus is of first importance. We read in Phil 2:5-11 that Jesus preexisted as the form of God / expression/ manifestation of God, that he was made completely mortal, that he died but was raised, glorified and given the name of God himself meaning that He indeed is our God to be worshipped. This arrangement, the text concludes, is the will of God. Indeed when you see Jesus, you see God and worship him as God (John 14:9, 20:28, 1 John 5:20).
