- My name is Joseph and I love the Lord. I am 39 but I really feel like I have only been alive for the last four years. I always knew their was a God but didn't find the God of the Bible till 2/20/20. I grew up playing sports baseball, basketball, and football and at a very young age got introduced to alcohol and drugs. I lived a very selfish life for most of my 20s and when I had my son I knew i needed to change. I tried everything I could rehabs, self-help, nothing ever lasted. I ended up in jail and that is where I found Jesus. I was delivered from drugs and alcohol on 12/23/19 and unlike Lot's wife I have never looked back. I put this in my description because most people are not willing to give me a chance because of my past. If you are a true believer you know that God uses the weak things to confound the mighty and he can change any person who is willing to submit. I aspire to be a Biblical counselor and am taking layman courses online. I am looking for someone who is serious about their relationship with Jesus.
