Hey there, my name is Josi, I’m 57, am divorced (about 15 years ago) had three children who are all grown adults now. I still believe in marriage and pray that I’m able to marry again .. God willing 🙏
I’m a fun-loving, down to earth kinda gal, caring, young at heart, have lots of love to give, am happy, positive, generous and affectionate.
Am a baptised Christian .. love Jesus with all my heart and He is priority in my life!
Enjoy having fun and a laugh, am family oriented and hang out with my adult kids when I can .. they are 31. 29 and 25 and all have their own homes, partners, jobs, etc and am also super blessed to have a beautiful little grandson who is 3 .. he calls me Mimmi and brings me much joy 😀 I love socialising with friends .. bbq’s .. dinners .. picnics .. going out to restaurants etc .. have worked in a variety of careers over the years along with being a full time mum .. used to be a learn-to-swim instructor for kids when my kids were young as well as a pool lifeguard .. after that became a remedial massage therapist and ran my own therapy business for a few years and then the past 15 years was a nurse .. sadly lost my nursing two years ago when Qld Health mandated the jab .. I was one of the “naughty” ones along with over 8,000 other Qld Health nurses who wouldn’t comply and we all got the boot at the end of Oct 2021. Every industry were mandating these jabs at the time so couldn’t find other work and eventually lost my home as well. Was a pretty tough time and really tested my faith .. but I gave it all to God and He had my back as He always does .. He took great care of me. I bought a small campervan and went travelling around Qld which turned out to be heaps of fun .. met lots of cool people doing the same thing and joined a vanlife group on Facebook .. picked up a few various odd jobs along the way .. bit of fruit picking .. trained in some bar work .. and now God has blessed me with a live-in carer position for a sweet 92 year old lady .. I’m provided with a separate home to live in as well which is really awesome! God is truly amazing when we learn to completely trust Him! 😊 Planning to finish this contract out at the end of June when my year is up and then see where God wants me 😁
Love travelling .. haven’t been overseas except for NZ which was beautiful.. but have seen lots of Australia .. all along the East Coast from Victoria to Cairns and inland to Alice .. have lived in Tasmania, Victoria, NSW and Northern Qld .. but most of my years have been on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.. was born and bred in Tassie. Love the Qld climate and outdoor lifestyle here .. am a bit of a beach babe but am also a country bumpkin .. am adventurous .. passionate .. compassionate .. can be spontaneous.. maybe a tad cheeky in a fun way .. but am respectful.
Love life and being active .. hiking .. camping .. swimming .. cycling .. cooking .. music .. chocolate .. theatres .. live concerts .. travelling .. motorbikes .. dancing .. snuggling up with my man to watch a movie .. am easy going and enjoy just about anything life has to offer .. life is what we make it and what a ride it can be .. i’m also happy with the simple life 😊
I’m not looking for perfection in a partner as I’m definitely not perfect .. but our living example is Jesus and His sacrificial love for us .. I am seeking true Christian Love and connection .. if the Holy Spirit is really living in us then I think real Christian Love can never fail ♥️
