**Okay, so if you've gotten this far. Congrats! You at least review profiles before responding etc. This is a good thing to do. However, this doesn't make them safe either. Because the truth about online dating is that it's selfish and heartbreaking. Many profiles are fake or, are of people looking for money, easy citizenship and or, just to take advantage of others for sport because they are totally bored with their unhappy lives. These people can be easily spotted too. Start up a conversation with them on another message service and look to see if their dating profile is still active. If so, you're being taken advantage of. People like this don't care about love and what it takes to have a real in person relationship. They despise themselves and in-turn project this self-hate on others through playing with their minds and hearts. Then blaming them for not having the right "chemistry" or of not being "dating material." Simply put, such people like this are narcissistic and evil. For whatever human soul they had before, has left and a demonic entity has taken over and enslaved them. To really be saved, they need to find and ask for Christ and do it now! God doesn't play favorites nor, will they be accepted otherwise. Especially if without His son Jesus Christ.
So if you're a decent person, you are better off looking outside of dating apps and sites and in real life. Try your local church or local cafe etc. Ask God to help you. Then listen and wait for Him to make it right and happen for you.
