I was an atheist before knowing Christ 12 years ago.
My first 2 years as a Christian were spent serving the Lord as a tent maker; a high school teacher.
After resigning from my profession as a high school teacher, I applied as the first full-time church worker in our local church. I was assigned as the Campus Ministry worker. Currently, I travel once to twice a month as a layworker for a daughter church out of my hometown while still leading the Campus Ministry of my own local church.
When I became a Christian, my desire was to live a single-blessed life. Regardless, I was committed in knowing and following God’s will for my life. Hence, since last year I accepted the truth that it is not God’s will for me not to marry.
However, due to my position in the church as someone who preaches and who pastors the youth, I don’t have male friends outside of ministry work. Acknowledging the need for boundaries in order to protect my brothers and sisters in Christ, I have realised that I didn’t have any male friends to consider for marriage. Thus, I am seeking for a friend who will become a lifetime partner, a man who can lead me, converse with me and teach me deep biblical truths, and who has the same (much better if it is even more) passion for the Lord as me; a man who loves Jesus first and foremost.

- Honestly, I don’t know what my ideal first date is nor do I have any experience. Though I was in a relationship before becoming a Christian, I never thought I would come to a point wherein I would seek out a marriage partner prospect. My life since 2012 was changed. As I was focused on ministry, ministering to the youth, I didn’t have the time for dates with the prospect for marriage. All my dates were for mentoring purposes and discipleship. So in this area, I really don’t know what to answer.
