- That was my arrange marriage so I never had any date in my life so I really don't know what to say but I will do really the good thing to make my partner happy................Promise, or I will ask my partner about but I think going out for dinner on a first date along with a nice quality bottle of wine is a good idea because if you get stuck, you can just eat something while you're thinking. Plus if you are getting on well, you can make an evening of it and then enjoying each others company what ever we decided to do.
