I put my life on hold to raise two sons, now that I am an empty nester, I have looked at my life and asked myself why didn't I share it with anyone. I have been content and now realise I want a life partner, someone I can cook for, someone that cares about God, family, environment and animals.
I have been struggling after my youngest son moved out and came to the conclusion that I too, deserve a good man. I don't need or want fancy dinners, home cooked meal is my preference. I don't care for riches, but a kind soul. I got to comfortable just raising my sons into being successful and happy. I forgot about myself.
It seems like the Lord has put me in a season. I was always praising him, always thanking him. THEN I forgot all about him for a few months. Now for the past two months, he has been testing my faith in him. I sometimes wonder if he hears me, I wonder if he forgot about me. Then as soon as I pray, I get a sign albeit small at times, that I am being heard.
Sometimes I want someone to pray with me, but neither one of my sons believes like I do. my youngest for sure does not. It saddens me that I cannot share with him what's happening.
