I like strawberries, and don't like English peas or asparagus. I like dogs and cats, and enjoy watching my young cat try to play with my 13-year-old dog. I don't really like inside pets that shed. I like playing cards or table games with friends. I like to go to church every time the doors are open. I like loud music, but not so much in church. I like profiles with multiple current pictures, not just head shots, and don't like it when someone looks way different from them. All my pics are recent. I like spending time with family, and don't care about frequently spending time away from them at night. I like physical, spiritual, and emotional closeness to my wife, my best friend. I'm very conservative spiritually and politically. I'm pro-life and anti-abortion, and that's a deal breaker.

I have an old man belly and could stand to lose about 35 pounds. I do want someone that I can join in regular exercise and healthy eating.
I’ve lived in northeast Louisiana all but about 5 years of my life, since 1990 in West Monroe as music minister at the same church. I retired in 2022 to care for my wife, then went back part-time while the church finds a replacement. I work around 6 hours a week, and don't go in to the office.
