Hello, People of Awesomeness!!
If you are truly interested in knowing who I am, please take a moment to read my entire profile.
I am a person who believes in daily Bible reading and continual communication with God through prayer.
Actions speak louder than words. A person's life should clearly show the fruit of the Spirit as described in Galatians 5:22-23.
A healthy relationship is one in which both individuals place God first and consider each other before themselves as in Philippians 2:3-4.
It's also important not to take life too seriously. I love to laugh and find joy through everyday life!
I made a personal decision to receive Jesus as my Savior when I was four years old, but I didn’t decide to turn and follow Him until I began reading the Bible daily when I was about eleven years old. I made a more public confession of my faith and was baptized in water when I was about fifteen years old.
Regarding church, the denominations I primarily attended during my childhood and young adult years were Nazarene, Assembly of God, and Foursquare Gospel. Additionally, I have attended churches that were non-denominational, Free Methodist, Baptist, and more. More recently, I have attended Grace Bible Church (non-denominational), Redeemer’s Fellowship (non-denominational), and Victory Baptist Church. Presently, my church fellowship primarily consists of daily Bible reading and prayer at home, and is supplemented with online sermons. I’m looking forward to being a part of a thriving Bible study and ministry in the future.
I completed Certified Minister courses through Berean School of the Bible (Assembly of God), and received a diploma in Christian Counseling from Liberty University (formerly Liberty Baptist College).
Regarding ministry, I have been a children’s Sunday school teacher, Vacation Bible School (V.B.S.) leader, and youth leader with the Assembly of God and Foursquare Gospel denominations, a children’s bus pastor (Foursquare Gospel), and an adult Bible study leader (non-denominational).
I am currently a renter, and my younger brother and I help to care for our parents who are in their seventies. I’m looking forward to being a homeowner in the near future.
