Thank you for visiting my profile.
I am looking for a Christ-centred/ Christ-honouring relationship with a Christ-loving daughter of God - who recognises her identity in Christ, who loves Him and His Word, and who is marriage-minded.
Faith in Christ is utmost to me. I accepted Christ from an orthodox-Hindu family when I was 16, and by God's grace, the whole family has accepted Christ, the last one being my late-father. He disowned us three children because of faith, but accepted Christ in the Intensive Care Unit in the hospital, six days before he went to be with the Lord. The Lord in His mercy answered our prayers of over 20 years. Acts 16:31 and Luke 18:1-8 was experienced in the family!
Knowing Christ is a invaluable, precious treasure and it will be a life journey. To love Him, worship Him, obey Him, serve Him faithfully with my life as He rightfully deserves is something I am striving towards.
As any believer in Christ will know, the second-most important decision after the decision for Christ is - the decision on whom to marry. So here I am with my profile - praying that if this be the way the Lord chooses, I will be able to meet a Christ-loving woman. I know the Lord can use any method, and I am allowing myself to be open for this online method. Each method has its pros and cons, and I am cognisant of the limitations of this method. To offset some of the limitations is why I would prefer to move soon towards a personal meeting, or if distance is much, then initially an online call through any mutually acceptable platform.
I have never been married, and as Christ saved me at an early age (16), the importance of purity was clear from His Word and instilled from the beginning. I understand that people come to faith from different life experiences and I am careful not to judge anyone in this regard, but I assume that once someone has experienced the love of Christ, they would certainly value faith and purity. Regardless of your faith journey, besides the invaluable Word of God, I strongly recommend 'What's on your mind' by Merlin Carothers.
I am not looking to waste anyone's time, and to that end, I hope not to have just brief conversations without substance - but looking forward to have open, honest conversations from the start and willingness to discuss strengths, weaknesses, desires, ambitions, likes, dislikes, expectations, etc. to build trust, friendship, and prayerfully, if the Lord leads, towards marriage, or, if not, to part ways amicably. I have done considerable research on godly marriages and successful relationships, and one of the common denominators has been the key importance of communication, and willingness to understand as much as to be understood.
Some additional practical points that could help you to know whether to communicate or not, and thus save time:
- I am allergic to animal dander. So if your pet(s) (cats/dogs) are non-negotiable for you, I am sorry I am not the right person for you
- I don't take any hard drinks at all. So if you always wanted to have hard drinks (alcohol/wine/rum/beer, etc.) with your potential mate, I am sorry I am not the right person for you
- After doing my research and prayerful consideration, I have not taken any of the CV-19 injections and absolutely have no regrets (especially considering the long list of adv. impacts), so if you are particular about your partner being injected, I am sorry I am not the right person for you
- I consider myself to be non-denominational or inter-denominational. What I should also mention is that I have the Biblical spiritual gift of speaking in tongues (I received this gift even before I was water-baptised - I am very grateful for this gift and consider it a huge blessing for my prayer life). So if you hold strongly to a belief system that invalidates that speaking in tongues is not for today (cessationist theology), I am sorry I am not the right person for you
I hope my profile gives a basic idea of me, and why I am here on this website. Once again, I am not here for wasting time, and I am not looking for small talks. If I contact you, I will be grateful to have an answer, even if it is a 'no' than to be left hanging, and you can expect the same.
