Being widowed, I have loved deeply, cried unashamedly, had my heart broken, and had to make hard decisions. But I can still LOVE PASSIONATELY, and know the deep joy a true matching of souls can bring.
I rejoice when I can bring smiles to the faces and laughter to the souls of people I care for and to the souls I encounter and my heart aches for the sorrows and difficult times that others would go through.
I value the heritage and traditions of my background but I am also open and love the openness of life.

I crave the fresh air of the mountains, the serenity of the forests and the magical music of the water. But I also welcome the comfort of home, the conversation of friends, the laughter of the kitchen, the warm embrace of another and the crackle of the fire.
I believe moral good will always win out and I believe in the concept of reaping & sowing and paying forward. I like to believe I am a hopeless romantic and defined like this:
Hopeless Romantics are NOT Hopeless literally, but very true, caring, and loving people. They are not "Players�, confused, blind or delusional. They believe in passion, chivalry, and TRUE LOVE. They have loved sincerely at one point in their life, discovered what love feels like. Hopeless Romantics are usually dreamers, idealists, and sincere, however what they expect in any relationship is not a full return for giving ie. Wink for wink or back scratch for back scratch, but is a feeling of completeness and a connection to spirit, AS ONE. What makes them "Hopeless" is the fact that they are few and far between in today�s daily life�
What and whom am I looking for in my life? I don�t think it is a question so much as a discovery. I am hoping to maybe discover a man that has had similar experiences of happiness and sadness. Loss of oneself and renewal. Death and rebirth. Tears that have grown into smiles. The fear of having lost everything you thought was life and starting over with nothing but your soul. A man that knows his path and happily walks it. A man that possesses integrity, honesty and humor. I am looking to meet a man that holds these attributes close to his heart and soul. I am looking to meet a man who enjoys wearing a ragged baseball hat, torn up sweat shirt when it's just a random day. Enjoys a cup of coffee/tea on a morning walk across the beach or down the street or where ever we may be. A man that wants to dress the part of a romantic night out or a cozy night in. Truly outer beauty is wonderful but true beauty is inside.

I am not going to tell you what I am looking for here. I am going to share with you what we both should be looking for. And if you agree with most of these things then we may be well on our way to a healthy, amazing journey together..
--Lets not live in our pasts. We all have them and can learn much from them but you cannot live in it or change what happened.
--Love often, say it, live it, mean it.
--Lets never take US for granted...no matter how long we may be together. Realize what we have is a gift and treat it that way daily.
--Laugh early and often. We will be happier and live much longer lives (at least that is what the experts say).
--Let's communicate with each other and be honest. Half truths are a full lie so let's not.. OK
--Let's have fun and travel... do things that we may not do on our own but can create an amazing memory of together. A measurement in time for us to reflect and smile upon.
