About David O. Akinlade
I'm David Oluwangbenumi Akinlade. I was born in Ondo State of Nigeria in 1976 to the family of Mr James and Mrs Eunice Akinlade. I became born again in 1994 in one of the meetings of Bishop David O. Oyedepo. After my conversion, I received the gift of the Holy Spirit. I did water baptism in May 26, 1996 as an outward sign of my death, burial and resurrection with Christ. I wanted to become an accountant before my conversion, but this ambition was changed to vision when I was converted. After my conversion, I started preaching the Gospel with passion. And back in 1998, I started seeing in my heart the vision, to enter into the ministry and speak to people the Words of Life. And while I was in a room on a certain day, still ruminating upon this vision in my heart, it happened that I carried the Bible to read, and as I merely opened it to read, behold, my eyes just fell directly upon Acts 5:20 and the Holy Spirit spoke to me saying, "Go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life". This He also used in assuring me that He sent me to speak to people the words of life. And this was what eventually gave birth to Words of Life Global Ministries. God confirmed this vision of my heart with the book of Acts chapter 5:20, and by this, I began to prepare seriously for my ministry. In 1999, I took a step of faith to organize a public crusade, and since that time, I started organizing crusades, programmes and teaching in Christian gatherings.
This ministry is an international apostolic, teaching and healing ministry. I'm not a messenger of sin and judgment. I'm a messenger of life. When life is preached and received, sin and judgment are destroyed ! I teach the Word of God in the power of the Holy Spirit. I believe in the Scriptures and the power of God. I'm a man that is very curious to know the Word of God and His power. My overwhelming vision is to speak to people the Words of Life that will make them live the superlative life, the highest quality of life.
