I'm looking for a godly woman who wants to be courted by a romantic man. Passion and fun must abound. I'm seeking a never married woman without children, who is open to the idea of adoption or having kids.
Although I'm a quiet man, I'm a fan of conversation. Almost anyone can prattle on about anything to whoever listens (or feigns listening), but, when two people really connect it is a sign of chemistry and God's blessing. This is a deal breaker for me. In my view, it's that important.
Humor is part of who I am. I'm usually quite lighthearted and funny, ocassionally witty. However, I don't like sarcasm and biting put downs. I love to have fun and I can find humor in most situations.
Love books. Love to read. Andre Dubus is my all time favorite writer.
I love movies. Art house flicks. Mainstream movies. Peckinpah, Fuller, Frankenheimer and Houston are among my favorite directors.
Fan of deep soul music, blues, Sinatra, classic country , Luther Vandross ballads, Billy Joe Shaver, black gospel, rock, Bruce Cockburn, jazz , David Lindley, U2 , Sonny Sharrock and slack key.
Faith in a living God is central to who I am. Jesus informs and defines who I am. To me, nothing is more endearing than a woman who really loves Jesus. Melts my heart every time.
Although, I'm an animal lover, I'm allergic to cats. It's only fair to give you a heads up, because I know if it came down to choosing between me and Fluffy...well, just say, I don't like my odds.
