Greetings in Christ! Me? I'm kinda kookie. My kids tell me I'm weird but I keep 'em
. First and foremost, Jesus is number 1. I want a relationship based on His Word - ALL of it. Meaning no pre-marital sex. If you're not willing to wait or to put Jesus first in the relationship, then I'm not the woman for you. I love going to church every Sunday and worshipping Him. I'm looking for a man who enjoys church every week and serving; maybe even going on short term missions trips. I have a passport I haven't used yet. =)
Laughter is important. We only live once and we're not promised tomorrow so I fully believe we need to make the most of today and we should laugh as much as we can. I joke around A LOT. Looking for a man who likes to joke around as well and laugh.
I love movies and music. I have an affinity for the beach but am kinda scared of what's in the ocean. So you'll have to do a lot of convincing to get me to try surfing or SCUBA diving. Although I may give in if you know the right words to say. That being said, I can't imagine ever living too far from the ocean again. I just adore it.
I love exploring new places - I'm kind of an adventurous person. I'm also a creative person so monotony drives me nuts (this isn't the same as monogamy, which I LOVE). And I'm an empath so yeh, I tear up at those Budweiser commercials they show during the super bowl. I'm a sap but I'm okay with that. Are you? I'm looking for someone to share the rest of my life with. One of my kids is almost 26 and the other is almost 21: won't be long til I'll be all by myself. I'm not really looking forward to that. God did tell Adam that it wasn't good for man (woman) to be alone. I'm going with that. God was right.
Seriously, I want a special person in my life. I have a lot of love to give and I do want to share the rest of my life with someone. I'm not looking for 'love' from another country. I get a LOT of 'requests' on Facebook and LinkedIn from men from other countries (apparently they use these sites as dating sites, which is really odd to me) and I'm just not into that. I prefer someone who lives here in the US.
Also, I'm a bit of a peladophobe. (I had to look it up.) Not sure why. I'm not really afraid of them but they do kinda weird me out. I also like someone who likes to take care of himself. You don't have to be a body builder but at least take care of yourself. Facial hair is cool as long as it's neat and not all scraggly looking. Again, take care of yourself.

- First Date
- It's been so long since I've been on a first date that I don't even know how to answer this. What would I 'do?' Well, I would shower so I would smell good. I would brush my teeth to chase away any dragon breath I might have. I would put extra deodorant on because you know how nervous sweat is. I would.....
I know, I know...that's not what the question meant. I'm just feeling a little silly right now. A first date? I think somewhere casual - maybe a coffee shop (although I don't drink coffee) or a small cafe. I tend to get a little bashful when I first meet people so if there are other people around, that should help. Or somewhere fun like a theme park or a circus or something. I dig roller coasters!
