I believe in God, I know that he's watching over us and I'm thankful for the gifts he has given me. We are all "works in progress" and everyday with God's help I try to walk His path. As for what I do for a living, I'm employed by a global environmental engineering firm, performing a variety of tasks at my branch as the Senior Cad Drafter & IT Administrator, yes, I am a bit of a geek. I tend to be outgoing. An enjoyable part of my life is that I love music and have been blessed to be a musician since I was 9 (thanks to God and my parents), playing guitar and several other instruments as well. I've been fortunate to receive the opportunity to perform in a professional capacity over the years (and have a number of amusing stories to share). I give thanks back to God, by playing with the contemporary praise team at my church, hopefully inspiring others and allowing me to worship through music.
For additional fun, I enjoy riding my mountain bike (regularly), playing frisbee and biking with my dog, Sheena (a border collie), traveling, playing pool, nature, reading, playing board games (and even playing some Wii video games like Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right, Clue, Life...simple ones), and of course watching movies at the theater or at home. I love almost all the films from the 40's and enjoy plenty of current ones as well. I will watch just about anything: comedies, suspense, romantic comedies, action, Sci-fi, documentaries, dramas, etc. I have a strong sense of right and wrong and standing up for the "little guy", thanks, in part, to Superman. I guess I got that from reading thousands (literally) of superhero comics when I was a young lad...essentially, I'm a little kid trapped in a big kid's body. I use the local library, avidly, always having a novel on my nightstand. My current rotation of authors include, Preston & Child, Lee Child, Laurie R. King, Dan Brown, Steve Berry & F. Paul Wilson, to name a few.
I'm a romantic and have a sensitive side. At this stage of my life, I've become more empathetic now than I have ever been. I believe in being honest and I'm a pretty easy read. I think I am a fairly linear person...even keeled, but, you can tell if I'm happy or sad. As for a loving relationship, from my heart, I know this: a couple who shares unconditional love has received God's greatest earthly gift. To love someone, really love them, is to see the face of God.
People who've known me over the years would say that I have a great sense of humor and that I like to make others laugh. Laughter is free and good for your health. I am fairly well educated and appreciate good conversation, because, let's face it, if you can't talk and share your faith in God, thoughts, ideas, concerns, prayers, joy, fears and comical sensibilities together, what else can bring you closer and build your relationship.
I want to blend a life with a woman who is willing to face the challenges of this secular world, and strengthen each other's faith in God, side by side, spending time worshiping and studying His Word together. I am fiercely loyal and if you are 'The' one who lights up my life, I will always be there for you. I realize, that as every day begins, it might be our last day. We cannot control what lies ahead. So, I always talk to God and ask for His guidance, His blessing and to grant me wisdom in the choices I make. I tend to let my heart be my guide. If I like someone I want them to know it and being a friend is the beginning of what might be one of our most important earthly relationships. Intimacy is key in a relationship, too. As I mentioned, I'm very romantic and totally into holding hands, touching, kissing, walking with our arms around one another, and sharing that closeness and all the cuddling and warmth that goes with it. There is no reason what-so-ever that the honeymoon should ever end. I'd be seriously worried if if did. God wants us find one another and to have a happy and loving earthly relationship. He wants us to form a bond together that is exemplary of what He desires for us all. At the end of the day, I'm just trying to live a life that is pleasing to God, as best I can, being thankful for all He has given me.
