Posted : 19 Jan, 2012 01:49 PM Why do girls buy so many shoes? *** I've learned of my self that I bought (past tense) so many shoes to match outfits...I worked in the public eye/view and believed I must put on a Certain Acceptable look...Corperate...well...one day I opened up my closet and found I had over a hundred pair of shoes...:glow:...and only Two feet to put them on...I was convicted by the spirit of GOD of Compulsive buying...:winksmile:...and then I find the Real Truth soon after...I was trying to Fill a Void in my life with a Material thing instead of God...I gave many away and now only have what I believe I really "need"...dress shoes 3...flops 5...:rolleyes:...cowgirl boots 2...:bouncy:...sneaks 5...:goofball:...everyday work boots...2...(No More Corperate)...:yay:...hiking boots 2...one pair I keep in my pick-um-up-truck for emergency...SOooo...17 pairs...:laugh:...maybe I can let go some of the sneaks ???...:ROFL:...Any who...thats my 2 Bits...Be Blessed Yall...xo Post Reply

Besides the fact that I can completely alter an outfit by changing something as simple as my shoes, they wear out so easily, but the more you have the more slowly they all wear out, and best of all no matter what happens to me as I age, lose/gain weight, etc. My shoes however will always fit me and be able to be worn (minus a few high pairs of stilettos as I age, but that's besides the point) they can last for a longer time than most pieces in my wardrobe, I still have shoes from early high school that I adore, love, and wear and some of the memories in those shoes are worth every penny I've paid for the hundreds of pairs (yes hundreds:rolleyes:) of shoes I own Post Reply
