He goes around spouting scripture and feels he is guarding truth yet he himself fails to understand why we have the bible. 2- A man who lives out biblical truth practically speaking and knows the scripture but doesnt get into debate with others over it. I wrote it to show we can make any comparisons about who's godly or not. We all have differing opinions to what godliness looks like. Even in my own family with my 4 brothers we have differing opinions about this topic. Their is such division going on in the family of Christ these days. I know this division hurts the very heart of God. I have found a unity with a woman that is not taught in the church of our days and people mock me. I am ever seeking to spead the good news and help others find such unity for their selves. Isnt that what we all want with the opposite sex? A relationship of unity and harmony? Or do we? Especially with women. They are so sensitive beings with wounderfully shifting emotions many times. They really know how to give it to us guys. Not even realising that they are. Many times they feel like they are expressing such love toward us and they dont realise that they are hitting us right over the head. I used to be a reactive guy also in the past but now it is different with my lady. God has given me a strength called understanding. As you know men are called not only to love their wives but live with them according to understanding. This is supernatural because understanding comes from God. It is granted by Him as we humble our selves and seek His kingdom. Post Reply

In your opinion a real man is someone who can "take it". In light of that, how do you explain that you have failed to "take it" without "dishing it out"? Is there a reason in your opinion that it's okay when you do it, but not when others do? I guess I could put the same standard on you. Many times you claim to be showing love while "hitting me over the head". Is there a reason your personal attacks on others are okay but our biblical correction of you is not? You "used to be a reactive guy". Now you have "understanding". I'm glad you have accomplished this in the context of your relationship with your fiance. However, It certainly is hard to believe that when looking at the evidence from your posts that say otherwise. You don't do your research from scripture. You do it by asking yourself what is practical. You then run with it and make error-filled posts here. From there you don't get responses you like and you become extremely "reactive". You respond with personal attacks that are misleading and meant to belittle others while promoting self. You don't attempt to converse with those who disagree with you in an "understanding" way. You simply dismiss critique as if no one can post anything of value except you or those who agree with you on everything. This is not being a man. This is not God-honoring. Something to ponder about.. Whoever misleads the upright into an evil way will fall into his own pit, but the blameless will have a goodly inheritance. Proverbs 28:10 Post Reply
