How important is it to you to be a Proverbs 31 woman? A keeper of the home?

You could tell me where I'm wrong for starters. Simply acting superior than me won't get you very far.

I will give you an example....A woman who gives birth and hires and nanny to assist her. Is she still raising her baby just because she does not change every diaper?

Maybe she works from home and still nurses her baby and rocks her to sleep and has signicicant interactions.

Or a family who brings in a house cleaner once ever two weeks. Does this mean that the woman does not care for her home?

Actually having help make a person a greater manager of the important things of life not a worse or absent manager, right?

I never disputed any of this. All I said and it has not really been challenged is that the woman in Proverbs 31 did the things the scriptures said she did. Of course you can say that she was able to do these things more efficiently because she had servants, but I don't see where the scriptures imply this here.

All Im trying to say is that as individuals how we practically apply truth to our lives in real life according to our own unique circumstances is right.

Their are varying ways to view and interpet truth. Are we opened minded enough to allow others to live according to their particular convictions?

I know you will not like these statements.

It just depends how far people take it. Some people have the conviction that chaos in church service is okay through speaking in "tongues", aka babbling. I'm not okay with letting them live out that conviction because it causes confusion in the assembly and it exactly what Paul wrote against. Certainly we all have varying ways in which we do things. They just must all be governed by the same truths.
